wtf? The reqs for a Black Ops is much lower than a carrier imo. Unless you plan on getting a carrier just to jump haul around low sec; because a cap pilot would need to train jump drive op V to get jump calibration anyway and its sorta.. a bad idea to not get jump calib.

ok, firstly i was talking about a carrier for use as a low sec transport, please read posts, it was a reference to pirating becoming useless because people would just cyno everywhere in black ops ships, however for transport a carrier is massive in comparison to a BS with base 600 cargo. that was what i was talking about in my post.
however, got to wonder about that 300,000ly jump range, with the enforced jump drive calibration 4, 600,000ly, which would reach far far beyond the edges of the universe even without the 100% bonus, then combine that with the first dev post on the ships saying about how they may be able to jump a group of recons with them... :S
ehhh, well i said the carrier doesnt require less skills to pilot. Or do you mean in comparison with the cargo capacity, the higher reqs are worth it? Even as a jump hauler around low sec, a carrier isnt much without jump calib.
Anyway forget that. I think we're both confused.
Tbh, the "pink" ships probably arent pink at all. From the pics they look more like the enyo's paint job than the eris' paint job. And imo, the enyo's paint is actually freakin sweet. Its more of a nice deep red ingame than a pink.

Originally by: Cailais Lots of speculation on the Marauder ships, so I'll throw my guess in.
Has anyone considered they might get a bonuses for fitting Capital Class weapons? i.e. Dread guns on a BS?
"Where's the logic Cail? And can I have what you're smoking?"
Well we know that cap ships are likely to appear in Level 5 Missions and above, and not everyone owns a Dread, so maybe these ships are like budget Dreads, or heavy gun boats?
Just a thought.

Doubt it... ive stuck my dual 1000mm rails on my mega before, theyre too big for the ship. They look sweet on it, but theyre too big and make the ship look like a floating gun if you put a lot on. lol

Its a T2 BS, tbh the reqs look fairly low to me.

lol no... I doubt the thing would be a mobile ammo factory. Dont forget you'd need mins to make the ammo, it wouldnt just come out of thin air.
If it did, that would screw with the market quite a bit.
